Five Nights with Maids released on Steam on October 16, 2026. As of October 18, 2026, the publisher has distributed one game patch — an uncensored content patch labelled v1.0.0 — and has not published a post-launch balance or bug-fix changelog.

It does not mean the game is broken or abandoned. It means the publisher has not posted a changelog that can be verified. This page will not invent version numbers or change lists to look complete.
The uncensored patch (v1.0.0)
Saikey Studios distributes the uncensored patch from the game’s official product page. A third-party patch listing records the file as v1.0.0, approximately 263 MB, updated October 17, 2026 — one day after launch. The base game remains the same build; the patch adds the adult scenes that the Steam release does not include by default.
What it changes
- Adds explicit adult content that is absent from the default Steam build.
- Does not change the night-watch loop, the power meter or the camera map.
- Does not add an easy mode, a save-anywhere option or new nights, based on the patch listing and player reports.
Players disagree about the quality and quantity of the added scenes. Some call the patch a novelty; others say it is the main reason to buy. That is a taste judgement, not a defect report, and it is covered on the review page.
How to install it
- Download the patch from the official Saikey Studios product page. Do not use a mirror.
- Close Five Nights with Maids completely.
- Run
Install Patch.exefrom the downloaded archive. - Select the game’s install folder. Steam installations are usually detected automatically.
- Choose install and wait for the process to finish.
- Manual fallback: copy everything inside the patch’s
Patch Filesfolder into the game folder and replace existing files when prompted.
The patch replaces game files. If you keep saves or screenshots in the install folder, copy them somewhere safe first. If the game is installed under Program Files, run the installer as administrator or use the manual copy method.
Known launch issues
These are player-reported problems from public Steam reviews, not a developer-maintained known-issues list. They are recorded because they affect how the game feels on the launch build. Some may already be fixed by the time you read this.

If you send a bug report to the publisher, include the night, the maid involved, whether the uncensored patch is installed, and the exact moment the input failed. “The shutter did not close” is hard to reproduce; “left shutter did not respond to a click on Night 4 with the patch installed” is actionable.

What counts as a patch note here
- A new public build with a date and a verifiable change.
- A hotfix that alters balance, controls, performance or stability.
- A content patch, DLC or mode addition.
- A correction to a previously published patch note.
The following do not count: review-score changes, price discounts, a new language added to the store page without a build note, or a player’s unverified claim that “something changed.”
